Now, their story is being brought to life in a permanent landmark: The Bay of Pigs Museum & Library—a tribute to their bravery and an educational center for generations to come.
Set to open in December 2025, this museum will serve as a beacon of remembrance, ensuring that the sacrifices made in the name of liberty are never forgotten.
The Bay of Pigs Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization;

What We Do:
This museum will be more than just a repository of artifacts; it will be a vibrant space where history comes alive through experiential learning, conferences and academic forums, all fostering a deeper understanding of the principles of freedom and democracy. Together, we will build a museum that honors the past, educates the present, and inspires the future. The Bay of Pigs Museum and Library will be a vital resource for schools and educators, providing comprehensive programs, curriculum and outreach — led by veterans and their descendants — that delve into the history and significance of the Bay of Pigs Invasion as we honor the men of Brigade 2506.

We welcome an international audience through tourism, with visitors from countries such as Denmark, Germany, Japan, China, India, the United Kingdom, Hungary, and Australia—just to name a few.
